These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and For a Better Tomorrow ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the For a Better Tomorrow mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
For a Better Tomorrow lets you write a short daily note to yourself that appears on your iPhone Lock Screen (and Home Screen) widget, helps you keep a daily writing streak, and lets you reflect on your notes over time.
Access to the App requires a paid subscription, offered with a free trial as described in the App at the time of purchase.
For a Better Tomorrow is a self-reflection and journaling tool for general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or crisis services. It is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are struggling or in crisis, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
The notes and content you create are yours. They are stored on your device (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups. Because content is stored on-device, uninstalling the App or losing your device may result in permanent loss of that content.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and software (excluding your own content), is owned by For a Better Tomorrow or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
The App uses third-party services (including Apple, Google Firebase, and RevenueCat). Your use of those services may be subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result (such as improved wellbeing) will be achieved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, For a Better Tomorrow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in São Paulo, SP, Brazil, unless otherwise required by applicable law. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
This App is distributed via the Apple App Store and is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's standard EULA regarding the licensed application, Apple's standard EULA governs to the extent required. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App, and that Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
