Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how For a Better Tomorrow ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application For a Better Tomorrow (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

If you have questions, contact us at Raphael Basile, appsvokko@gmail.com.

The short version

For a Better Tomorrow is designed to be private by default. The personal notes you write to yourself are stored on your device and are used to show them in the App and in your Lock Screen (and Home Screen) widget. We do not upload the text of your notes or your name to our servers. We use a small amount of anonymous, aggregated analytics and crash data to understand how the App is used and to keep it working, and we use Apple to process subscriptions.

Information stored on your device

The following stays on your device and is not transmitted to us:

To display your note in the widget, the App shares the current note with its own widget extension on your device using a private App Group container. This data does not leave your device through us.

Information we collect

1. Usage & analytics data (Firebase Analytics). We collect anonymous, aggregated usage information to understand how features are used and improve the App — for example: screens viewed, actions taken (e.g., a note was written, onboarding steps completed, a rating was given), approximate device/OS type, app version, and general region. This data is metadata only. We do not send the text of your notes, your name, or other content you write.

2. Crash & diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics). If the App crashes, we may collect diagnostic information (such as device model, OS version, and technical crash logs) to fix problems.

3. Remote configuration (Firebase Remote Config). We use remote configuration to enable/disable features and adjust the experience without an update. This does not collect personal content.

4. Subscription data (Apple & RevenueCat). Purchases and the free trial are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscription status. This may involve processing an anonymous purchase identifier and subscription status.

5. Notifications. The App uses local notifications (generated on your device) to remind you to write your note and to re-engage. If you grant permission, these are scheduled on-device.

6. Photos. If you choose to save a wallpaper, the App requests permission to add the image to your Photos. Images are created and saved on your device.

What we do NOT do

Third-party services

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example, Brazil under the LGPD, the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact appsvokko@gmail.com.

Data retention & security

On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Analytics and crash data are retained by our providers according to their policies. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at appsvokko@gmail.com.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
